Videoconferencing equipment is not required to experience a Virtual Field Trip. If your senior center, community center or library has high-speed Internet access, all you need is a laptop with an IP address and access to a videoconferencing line such as the Connected4-Learning Video Server (to receive the videoconference), an LCD projector or large monitor (to display the videoconference on a larger screen, external speakers (so your participants can hear the presentation), a webcam (to allow the presenter to view the classroom and students) and an external microphone (so that they can actively participate in the videoconference). It is not as complicated as you think!
