Our Purpose

The purpose of Connected-4-Learning is to enhance the quality of life in communities through the development of a virtual lifelong learning network. Connected-4-Learning encourages a sense of community through engagement with schools, senior centers, libraries and community centers. To that end, we collaborate with museums, zoos, galleries, other non-profits and for-profits to provide programming. All programs are presented through videoconferencing to maximize participation without regard for location. Our website connects available programming to organizations seeking learning opportunities.

 Connected-4-Learning is dedicated to connecting people by bringing exciting new cultures, new voices, and new conversations using videoconferencing.  Whether across town or across continents, you can exchange the experiences of your daily lives.  Talented artists, educators, and experts from home or abroad can share their knowledge and answer questions – real conversations in real time. 

Quality videoconferencing is now readily available by using a laptop computer with a good web camera or organizations can purchase a conference room technology solution.  Enhanced broadband is a necessary component to ensure a quality videoconference experience.  Our servers can directly connect presenters to groups through the Internet. No longer is expensive equipment required for high definition videoconferencing. 

Individual nonprofits, businesses and educational facilities use videoconferencing on a limited basis without a central system of support. Our company distinguishes itself by developing a systematic way to locate existing “providers” and by actively developing new “providers.” Connected-4-Learning will build capacity in communities through program development and be the web presence for organizations to find interactive resources for their communities.
