Students from the Fort Osage School District, Mrs. Moore’s fourth grade class spoke to scientists about the loss of the polar bear habitat and climate change. The conference originated from Hudson Bay, Canada.
This was the first time the students had seen video conferencing! All were impressed that they could talk with the scientists and have their questions answered. It was a great experience for the students and the Kansas City Zoo staff.
